While the outside table is unquestionably a nice feature, we want an inside table for when it’s too cold, buggy, busy, or whatever to be outside. Angel and Todd finished the table top months ago, but we’ve had too many things to do to install it in the camper, until now. It’s made of the same beautiful mahogany as the cabinets, which a slightly more durable finish since we will be using it regularly.
The table attaches to the wall and is positioned so we have two seats on the bench to sit comfortably at the table. It blocks the door when it’s down, but we can scoot around on the bench to get into the camper, and it’s very easy to take up.
When we’re not using it, it mounts securely on the wall where it is out of the way.
A collapsible leg folds up inside the frame of the table when it is mounted on the wall.
The leg clicks down to support the bench end of the table when it is down.
When the table is down, the frame rests in a bracket and a pin keeps it from tipping or rocking.
When the table is up, the same pin holds it in place on the top.
The other end rests in the bracket at the bottom.
