Because we are trying to travel as unencumbered as possible, we are trying to use everything in the camper for multiple purposes. One of things we’re really happy about dual purposing is the ramp for loading the motos, which also doubles as a table. The ramp attaches to the bed with L-track. So, we screwed some L-track to the side of the camper and had a couple of aluminum sheets made to fit the ramp, and the ramp now doubles as a banquet table. We are still working on what to use as a leg on the free side, but we have a few options and know one will work.

A couple of sheets of aluminum, sized to fit exactly over the ramp, are stored at the corner of the moto garage. They slide into a gap in the wooden block seen above Tom’s head, and are curved around the corner. Two finger tight bolts hold them in place.
Unstacked, the two sheets fit exactly over the top of the ramp and can be screwed in place. We’ve left a gap at the top, next to the camper, so we can pull the grill and burner out of the storage box under the bed and they can sit on the table with the gas lines running down and back into the box.
Light, heat resistant, easy to clean, and easy to take on and off, this will really add to our outdoor living space.
